Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta (Facebook), recently revealed his intense passion for the strategy game Civilization during an interview with Pubity. He admitted to spending over 1,000 hours mastering the game and confidently claimed that he could beat anyone in the world.

Zuckerberg shared a funny moment when his wife, Priscilla Chan, discovered just how much time he had poured into Civilization on his Steam account. “Priscilla checked my account the other day and was like, ‘Wait, you’ve played this game for over 1,000 hours?’” Zuckerberg recounted. Although surprised, Chan seemingly acknowledged her husband’s deep love for the game.

But it’s not just a casual interest—Zuckerberg has set an ambitious goal: to become the best Civilization player in the world. He said, “I really want to be the best in Civilization. At some point, I should probably stream on Twitch and challenge someone because I’m pretty sure I’m near Grandmaster level.” He confidently added, “I’d be shocked if anyone in the world could beat me at this game.”

On Reddit, many users responded by pointing out that 1,000 hours is not as impressive as it sounds—some even claimed to have logged more hours. Still, this only fuels curiosity about how the Meta CEO would fare against other serious players.
